Hi there, I'm glad you're here :)

I'm a Licensed Esthetician and Permanent Makeup Artist with 8 years of experience creating natural, customized brows.

I founded Luna Beauty in 2018 in Newport, Kentucky, and since then, we’ve proudly served women throughout Fort Thomas, Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area.

Over the years, thousands of women have trusted me with their brows, from everyday women who simply want to feel more confident, to professional athletes’ families and clients whose careers place them in the public eye. I’ve also had the privilege of creating brows for incredibly strong women navigating cancer treatment, helping them preserve a small piece of familiarity and confidence through a season of tremendous change.

No matter who is sitting in my chair, my philosophy is the same:

I don’t believe in templates or one-size-fits-all brows. Every set is thoughtfully designed around your facial structure, natural hair growth, skin type and personal style, using techniques such as microblading and nano hair strokes to create soft, realistic results.

After eight years, my favorite part of what I do is still the same: seeing a woman look in the mirror and recognize herself.. just a little more confident!

What is microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent brow technique designed to create fine, realistic hair-like strokes that blend with your natural eyebrow hair.

At Luna Beauty Studio, every brow is custom designed based on your facial features, natural hair growth, skin type and desired result. The goal isn't to give everyone the same brow — it's to create soft, natural-looking brows that complement you.

Microblading can be especially beautiful for clients who want to add fullness, improve symmetry, define their shape or fill sparse areas while maintaining a natural appearance.

Does Microblading Hurt?

Most clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the appointment is. A topical numbing product is used to help minimize discomfort throughout the procedure. You may feel light scratching, pressure or sensitivity, but the experience is typically very manageable.

How long does Microblading Last?

Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing designed to fade gradually over time. How long your results remain visible varies based on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare routine, pigment retention and other individual factors.

Although it is often called “semi-permanent,” pigment is implanted into the skin, so it should still be considered a long-term commitment. Maintenance appointments may be recommended as the brows naturally fade.

What does the healing process looks like?

LoreYour brows will look darker, sharper and more defined immediately after your appointment. This is normal.

As the skin heals, you may experience mild redness, tenderness, dryness, flaking or light scabbing. The brows can also appear lighter or uneven at different stages of healing before the color settles.

The most important thing? Don’t judge your final results too early. Your healed brows will look softer and more natural than they do immediately after the procedure.

You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions before leaving your appointment.

What if I have oily skin?

You can still be a candidate for permanent brows, but traditional microblading may not always provide the crispest or most predictable healed hair strokes on oilier skin.

Depending on your skin, natural hair and desired result, Nano Hair Strokes or Combo Brows may be a better option.

We’ll help determine the technique most appropriate for you rather than using the same method on every client.

I already have old microblading or permanent makeup. Can you work over it?

Possibly — but please do not book a new-brow appointment without having your existing work evaluated first.

Previous pigment must be light enough and appropriately positioned for new work to be performed successfully.

If your existing brows are too dark, heavily saturated, significantly discolored or outside the shape we would recommend, removal or lightening may be necessary before creating a new set.

Will my brows look natural?

Natural-looking brows are the foundation of our work.

Your shape isn't chosen from a template. Your brows are designed around your facial structure, existing brow hair, natural growth pattern, skin and personal preferences.

Will I need a touch-up?

Permanent makeup often requires more than one session to achieve the desired healed result. Pigment retention varies from person to person, which is why the healed result (not the brows immediately after your first appointment) — determines whether additional work is needed.

During a touch-up, we can evaluate your healed color, retention and shape and refine areas when appropriate.

After that, maintenance frequency depends on your individual skin, lifestyle and how your brows fade over time.

Not Every Brow Needs Microblading.

You may have searched for microblading — but the best brow technique depends on your skin, natural hair growth, previous permanent makeup and the result you want.

At Luna Beauty Studio, we don't use one technique on every client. Your brows are evaluated individually to determine whether microblading, nano hairstrokes, combination brows or soft powder shading will create the most natural-looking result for you.
